I’m Carolyn.

I write humorous and heartfelt stories full of awkward moments, summer adventures, messy relationships, and a little bit of fashion flair. My goal? To make you laugh, swoon, and maybe even tear up a little.

Okay, I’m not trying to make you cry—I just want you to feel something. That’s why my stories often explore family, friendships, and finding your place in the world.

When I’m not daydreaming about my next story (usually set somewhere in Europe), you’ll find me running My Chic Obsession, a fashion website that reaches millions of readers.

Hmm… what else? I sip way too much coffee, frequently run outfits by my two young boys for approval (my toughest fashion critics), and explore new cafes for people stalking (er, I mean watching), all in the name of plotting my characters’ next hilarious mishap.

Currently, I’m working on my debut novel about a college girl who flees heartbreak in her small town to find family in France, only to discover unexpected romance, adventure, and herself along the way.
