Recently, we spent a weekend with some sweet friends up in Kentucky. They drove from Michigan, we drove from South Carolina, and we rented an Airbnb to meet up for a sort of Friendsgiving celebration. Not only was it a great time, but it was absolutely beautiful. The drive there was stunning—full of rolling mountains and vibrant fall foliage. Even getting stuck in traffic wasn't so bad with views like that.
The nights were spent around a bonfire with crisp air, wrapped in a cozy cardigan, or soaking in a bubbling hot tub with a cool breeze. It doesn't get much better than that.
Man, I just love autumn and good friends.
