Best of Summer

I don’t know what’s harder to believe: that we’re getting closer to welcoming a new season, or how many things we fit in this summer! And this was on top of moving halfway across the country too.

I benefitted most from putting together this roundup—being able to see everything we were able to do and the memories we were able to build in just a short time was just another reminder of all the blessings I have in my life.

Here’s to the best of summer!

1. Farmers’ Markets

2. Hosting a Dinner Party for My Own Family

3. Lake Day at Lake Jocassee

4. Jazz Festival

5. Swan House at Atlanta History Center

6. Tennessee to Meet Up With Friends

7. Getting Fresh Fruit From Local Markets

8. Making a Rental Feel Like Home

9. Exploring New Coffee Shops to Work From

10. 4th of July With Family in Iowa

11. Baseball Camp

12. Afternoon Tea With a Friend

13. The Rose Garden

14. Hosting a Dinner Party With Friends

15. Learning to Make New Things

16. Family Movie Night With Snacks

19. Slow Mornings With Nowhere to Be

Not pictured: discovering antique places, spending an evening at the winery, taking my boys to the library, walks around the neighborhood with bikes and scooters, and getting inspired by stunning historic houses.

What a great summer.
